What to Expect from our Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour
Pick up time from your hotel: 9.00 am.
From your hotel, we will first drive to Kecinan harbor. It’s a half hour ride from Senggigi. Along the way you can enjoy beautiful scenery with palm trees on one side and the ocean on the other. Meanwhile, from Nipah, you will already have a stunning view of the three Gili islands.
Private Speed boat Experience Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour
Once we arrive at Kecinan harbor, your private speed boat will be already waiting. Then it will take you quickly across the sea to Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. The private speed boat allows you to travel faster between the islands, and therefore giving you more time to snorkel and explore.
All three Gili islands are motor-vehicle free; therefore transportation is limited to bicycles and traditional horse-drawn carriages. Our first stop is Gili Trawangan, which we reach in a short and comfortable ride of about 10 minutes by private speed boat.
Gili Trawangan is the most famous, largest and liveliest of the three islands. It is considered one of the top destinations in Indonesia and is highly rated on TripAdvisor as one of the best islands in Asia.
Gili Trawangan
Gili T is is well known for it’s vibrant nightlife, beach parties and cuba diving. Popular activities include watching sunset from the western beach bars, visiting the night market for authentic Indonesian food, and cycling around the island.
There are many restaurants and beach bars where you can relax and enjoy the island atmosphere. After spending about an hour and half we will then continue our journey by private speed boat to Gili Meno. Now your Gili Islands snorkeling tour begins.
Gili Meno
Gili Meno is the middle and smallest island, known for it’s peaceful and romantic atmosphere. With fewer visitors, therefore, it is perfect for honeymooners and nature lovers. This island is famous for it’s rich marine life, including sea turtles, colorful coral reefs, tropical fish and the iconic underwater statues “Nest”
First, your snorkeling experience begins at the turtle point, and then we continue to the underwater statues. Thanks to the private speed boat, we can easily move between the best snorkeling spots. We will spend around one and a half hours exploring these highlights, after that heading to Gili Air.
Gili Air
Gili Air offers a perfect mix of relaxation and local island life. It is known for its excellent snorkeling an, yoga spots, and laid-back beach cafes. Here you will have time to enjoy lunch and at the same time continue snorkeling or relaxing on the beach. It is an ideal place to unwind while still enjoying beautiful marine life just off the shore.
Finally, in the afternoon, your private speed boat will take you back to Kecinan harbor around 17.00.
On the way back to your hotel, we can make a stop at Malaka Hill to enjoy a beautiful sunset and panoramic coastal views.
