What to Expect from our Gili Islands Snorkeling Tour by Private Glass- bottom boat
Pick up time from yosorur hotel: 9.00 am.
From your hotel we will drive to the harbor of Teluk Kodek. That is a half hour ride from Senggigi. On the way you can enjoy beautiful scenery with palm trees on one side and the ocean on the other. Then from Nipah, we can see the three Gili Islands.
As we arrive at Teluk Kodek, a private glass-bottom boat will be waiting to take us to Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air for your private snorkeling tour.
All three Gili islands are motor-vehicle free, therefore the only transportation there are bicycles and horse-drawn carriages. So the first island we will visit is Gili Trawangan. It takes us about 30 minutes to get there.
Gili Trawangan
Gili Trawangan is the most famous, largest and busiest one of the three islands. It is rated as one of Top Destinations in Indonesia and high-rated in the TripAdvisor’s Best Asian Islands.
Gili T is well known for it’s vibrant nightlife, parties and Scuba diving. Key activities on this island are watching the sunset from the western beach bars, visiting the night market for authentic Indonesian food and cycling around the island.
There are many restaurants and bars along the beachside, which give you the opportunity to relax. We stay here for about 1 hour and then the glass bottom boat brings you to Gili Meno.
Gili Meno
Gili Meno is the middle and smallest of the three islands. It has the lowest population and is the most quiet and romantic one. Therefore the best for honeymooners and nature lovers.
Gili Meno is famous for its beautiful underwater marine life, including underwater statues, a turtle zone, vibrant coral, and many colorful fish.
Our snorkeling journey begins at the turtle zone, and then continues to the underwater statues. We will stay here for about an hour and a half, and then our glass-bottom boat will take us to Gili Air.
Gili Air
Gili Air balances relaxation with a local vibe. It offers excellent snorkeling, yoga, and a relaxed nightlife with beachside cafes, providing a perfectly laid-back escape.
At one of these places, you can have you lunch and spend the rest of the day snorkeling. It is a great spot to enjoy the beautiful underwater marine life and at the same time to relax on the beach. Our glass-bottom boat brings us back to the harbor of Teluk Kodek around 16.30.
On the way back to your hotel, we can stop at Malaka Hill to enjoy the sunset.
